The Camp Lejeune Justice Act, which is a part of the Honoring Our PACT (“Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics”) Act is currently pending the US Senate. The Act passed the House of Representatives in March 2022 with bipartisan support. Once this historic bill is passed by the Senate and signed into law, those exposed to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune will finally be able to obtain justice from the US government for their health conditions linked to their exposure.
Veterans and others who lived or worked at Camp Lejeune were unknowingly exposed to toxic drinking water. The veterans, family members, and civilians who were at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina between 1953 and 1987 were exposed to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by drinking, bathing, and swimming in the water supply.
We need your help to help ensure that this legislation passed. Please contact your US senators to ask them to support the Honoring our PACT Act and the Camp Lejeune Justice Act. With your support, we can help bring justice to those who were harmed by the toxic water at Camp Lejeune.
